Spring was warm with temperatures 1°C above the long term average. It was dry with only 100mm rain, well below average.
Summer was very warm with a mean max temperature 23.7°C, 2.4°C above average. We had 9 days over 30°C and bushfires which caused all sorts of problems with air quality from mid January to early February. Almost ⅔ of the rainfall for summer fell in December, none in January.
Autumn saw temperatures above average including 39°C on 2 March. Rainfall was about half the average.
Chardonnay was picked for sparkling on 7 March, Riesling on 6 April, Pinot noir on 10 April.
