Spring 2017 was the warmest on record with temperatures 2.3°C above the long term average. Rainfall was low, just over half of what we received last season during spring.
Summer weather was a mixture of mostly warm in December and January followed by cool weather in February. Early December (during flowering) was the coolest day at 12°C. Rainfall was average.
Autumn was dry and warm with a 30°C day in mid March. It was however very windy.
Pinot noir was picked on 17 March and Riesling was picked on 24 March.
